Dear Viking Nation,
As I sit down to write this, I am overcome with gratitude, reflection, and deep appreciation for every step of my journey with the Minnesota Vikings. From the day I was recruited in 2020 to now, donning purple and gold has been nothing short of a blessing – a vivid reality of a dream. This letter is more than simply a thank you; it’s a testament to each and every one of you who believed in me, supported me, and allowed me to mature not only as a wide receiver, but as a person.
Thank you for entrusting me with this job – to carry on the Vikings’ tradition of excellence, to represent the shield, and to be a pillar in the locker room and community. From ownership to front office, coaches to teammates, you’ve developed a culture that fosters greatness. You drafted a child with passion and hunger, and you fueled that flame with opportunity, belief, and guidance. The ethos of our franchise, which is based on toughness, solidarity, and loyalty, has helped me to progress every day.
To my former and present teammates, thank you for the link, the grind, and the brotherhood. Football is the ultimate team sport, and I am only as good as those who play with me. Every snap, drill, and moment we had created memories I’ll never forget, from the veterans who showed me the ropes to the young guys who pushed me to keep progressing. You helped me improve as a competitor, teammate, and leader.
Thank you to the Vikings coaching staff, especially the offensive geniuses who put their belief in me in big times, for pushing me and thinking I could be more than good. You challenged me to delve deeper, learn harder, and lead consistently. Trust has meant everything.
And to the fans — my people, my heartbeat — I don’t even know where to start. Your enthusiasm, your love, your Skol shouts that shake U.S. Bank Stadium to its foundation—it’s something you don’t just play for, but live for. You accepted me not just as a player, but also as a family member. Whether I was dancing in the end zone or suffering through tough games, you were there for me. You inspired me to be better, to achieve more, and to never take this platform for granted.
Minnesota has become more than just where I play football; it has become my home. A place that welcomed my spirit, boosted my voice, and fueled my purpose. I’ve tried to give back with every route I run, touchdown I score, and young fan I motivate.
As I look ahead, I know I will carry this love with me wherever life takes me. This is more than just football; it’s about family. Forever.
