This open letter comes with deep gratitude, humility and reflection of the journey that has made me who I am as a person and athlete. My achievements in this league are not only because of my perseverance and selflessness but also because of the people and the surroundings that believed in me before I believed in myself.
“I want to thank my colleagues and the Atlanta Dream organization as a whole for creating an environment where development is not only welcomed but expected. The culture here pushes me to get better every day, to hold myself accountable, and to have fun with the highs and lows that come with playing professional basketball. It’s because of your faith in me that I have been able to hone my skills, adjust my mindset and learn what it takes to really compete at the highest level.
“We thank all the hard work that the coaching staff and support staff do behind the scenes. The hours of planning, analysis and direction you give us allow us to perform under pressure. You have taught me self control, perseverance and the importance of being consistent in every aspect of the game.
