NME announcement: Madonna plans to rerelease her 1994 album Bedtime Stories, and her criticism of former US President Donald Trump.

Madonna, the iconic Queen of Pop, has announced plans to rerelease her 1994 album “Bedtime Stories,” coinciding with her outspoken criticism of former U.S. President Donald Trump.

In a recent Instagram post, Madonna, 66, shared a sultry video of herself in pink lingerie, teasing the upcoming rerelease of “Bedtime Stories.” The album, originally featuring hits like “Secret” and “Take a Bow,” is set to be reissued with a vinyl edition. This announcement follows her recent collaboration with producer Stuart Price on a sequel to her 2005 album “Confessions on a Dance Floor.” Madonna expressed her excitement, stating, “My Valentine’s Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I’m putting my heart and soul into my new music and I can’t wait to share it with you.”

Simultaneously, Madonna has been vocal about her disapproval of Donald Trump’s re-election. Following the election results, she took to Instagram, questioning, “Trying to get my head around why a convicted felon, rapist, bigot was chosen to lead our country because he’s good for the economy?” She also shared an image of a cake adorned with the words “Fuck Trump,” expressing her frustration with the election outcome.

Madonna’s history of criticizing Trump dates back to his initial election in 2016. In a 2016 interview, she expressed feelings of “betrayal” by women who voted for him, stating, “It feels like women betrayed us.” Her recent comments continue this trend, reflecting her ongoing commitment to political activism.

The rerelease of “Bedtime Stories” and her forthcoming projects signify a prolific period in Madonna’s career, blending her musical endeavors with her unwavering political commentary.
