MacKinnon’s on-ice antics has already resulted in disciplinary action. He was given a misconduct penalty in a different instance for complaining to officials over a non-call that resulted in the injury of teammate Cale Makar. Due to his outrageous remarks, MacKinnon received a 10-minute misconduct and a minor penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.
For his actions on the ice, MacKinnon has already been disciplined.
