Alumni of the Broncos are excited about the 2025 campaign.

On Monday, the 18th annual Charity Golf Tournament was conducted at the Omni Interlocken Golf Club by the Denver Broncos Alumni to support Denver Street School, Colorado Spillionaires juvenile, and other juvenile initiatives in the Denver metropolitan region.

With the Broncos matching all donations and elevating the alumni like never before, former placekicker Rich Karlis, who is on the golf committee that hosts the largest fundraiser, said it’s simpler to generate more money for charity since Carrie Walton Penner became a team owner.

Bo Nix and the improved Broncos were the main topic of conversation over breakfast burritos prior to the golf outing, which was attended by over fifty former Broncos, including Ring of Famers Karl Mecklenburg, Steve Atwater, Steve Foley, and Dennis Smith.

Verify that: When former football players get together, the main topic of conversation is always comparing health and surgical updates. The 2025 Broncos, who are making their first postseason appearance in nine years, came next.

“Broncos 2025: 11-6, 12-5,” stated Mark Jackson, a former Amigo receiver. “You really have a chance to win the AFC West, in my opinion. This is being extremely optimistic, but I believe they have a shot if Bo can and the defense plays as it should. He doesn’t need to make a huge improvement from the previous season. Over the course of the year, you witnessed him go from a tentative beginning to a level of confidence—not only his own confidence, but the team’s as well.

As a quarterback, Jackson stated, “I think that’s the biggest part, you know, when a guy like Don Horn or a Peyton Manning steps on a field, it just raises the play of everyone else.” “I believe Bo is beginning to do that, where everyone else feels pressured to perform better.”

A bit more prudence was added to his optimism by Tyrone “Chicken” Braxton, the former veteran safety and cornerback from the Broncos’ Super Bowl XXXII and XXXIII winning teams. “They appear to be in good condition. However. It’s a difficult division, Braxton remarked. Kansas City. Since it’s more Kansas City, I believe they can handle the Chargers. But they could be just as good as the previous year. I’m not sure how much better they’ll be. That’s what I think. I’m not flawless.
