To the Entire Houston Astros Family,
To the Fans, and the Greater Houston Community,
I write this letter with deep gratitude, respect, and emotion — not just as a right fielder, but as a human being profoundly shaped by the experience of being part of something greater than himself. This year has been nothing short of epochal in my life and career. And for that, I owe you — the Astros organization, my teammates, coaches, the fans, and the entire Houston community — more than words can fully express.
From the moment I stepped onto Minute Maid Park’s sacred grass, I felt something unique: a bond, a spirit, a family. Houston didn’t just welcome me — you embraced me. You gave me the space to grow, to thrive, to fall and rise again, and most importantly, to believe.
To my coaches and teammates: thank you for your trust, guidance, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Every practice, every game, every moment in the dugout has been a lesson and a blessing. You pushed me to become better — not just as a player, but as a teammate, a leader, and a man.
To the front office and staff: thank you for creating an environment of professionalism, unity, and purpose. Your belief in me fueled my confidence every single day.
To the fans: I cannot say this loud enough — YOU are the heartbeat of this team. The thunderous applause, the sea of orange, the cheers that carried us through tough innings — you reminded me why this game matters. I’ve felt your love in every chant, every autograph session, every community event, and every interaction. You made Houston feel like home.
And to the greater Astros community: thank you for your unwavering support, for embracing me beyond the ballpark, and for being the foundation of everything we do. Your pride in this team inspires us to play not just for wins, but for the legacy we represent.
This past year has been pivotal — not only in my career but in who I am becoming. It has been a season of learning, evolving, and embracing the moment.
