To my Eels family,
As I sit down to write this, my heart is full. There’s no easy way to sum up what this journey has meant to me, but I need to try—because you all deserve to know just how much you’ve impacted my life.
From the moment I joined the Parramatta Eels, you welcomed me like one of your own. Through the good times and the hard ones, you stood by me—not just as fans, but as people. As a community. As a family. That kind of support… it’s rare. And it’s something I’ll never, ever take for granted.
When I look back on these years in blue and gold, I don’t just think about games won or tries scored—I think about the love in the stands, the pride in the jersey, the little kids waving flags and shouting my name, not because I’m perfect, but because I wore that crest with everything I had. And I always will.
This club gave me more than a career. It gave me growth. It gave me purpose. It gave me a home.
To the coaches, the staff, my teammates—thank you. You challenged me to be better, every single day. You believed in me even when I struggled to believe in myself. We went to war together on that field, and I’ll carry those battles—and the brotherhood we built—with me forever.
To the fans… you have no idea what your energy has meant to me. Whether it was the roar from CommBank Stadium or a quiet word from someone on the street, your support got me through moments most people never see. You lifted me. You carried me.
And to the wider Parramatta community—thank you for creating an environment where I could truly grow. As a player. As a man. As a father and a leader. You didn’t just help build my career… you helped shape who I am.
