It is impossible for me to look back on my path without recognizing the enormous influence this amazing group has had on my life and work. Our mutual dedication to quality, trust, and resiliency are the foundations of what we have created together, which transcends victories and defeats.
I was accepted not only as a coach but also as a member of the family from the very beginning. People at Oregon State actually care about each other, and belief is not just spoken but also shown on a daily basis. I have been greatly shaped by that environment, both personally and professionally. It has pushed me to develop, lead with intention, and remain rooted in principles that are genuinely important.
To all players—past and present—you are this program’s lifeblood. Every day I am inspired by your self-control, selflessness, and persistent commitment. One of the biggest joys of my life has been witnessing you develop into better men as well as sportsmen.
Your enthusiasm is unparalleled, Beaver Nation supporters and fans. Your devotion has never faltered, whether in times of success or hardship. We are inspired, motivated, and reminded of the reasons for our actions by the environment you have created. You may never know how far your faith has taken us.
Additionally, I would want to express my gratitude to the whole Oregon State administration and staff for creating an atmosphere that not only promotes but also demands progress. We continue to construct something significant and long-lasting thanks to your support.
This trip has been absolutely life-changing. Even if there will always be new obstacles in the future, one thing will never change: my thankfulness. Because so much of my life has been written here, Oregon State will always have a particular place in my heart.
