Dear LSU Family,
It’s hard to put into words what LSU and the entire Baton Rouge community mean to me. When I transferred to LSU in 2018, I was looking for an opportunity — a second chance to prove myself and take the next step in my football journey. What I found here was far more than I ever imagined: I found a family, a culture, and a community that embraced me with open arms and allowed me to become the best version of myself — both on and off the field.
From day one, you believed in me. Whether it was the coaches who took a chance on me, my teammates who became brothers, or the fans who stood by me every game, I felt supported every step of the way. LSU gave me a platform, but more importantly, it gave me a purpose. It gave me the confidence to lead, to compete, and to dream bigger than ever before.
To Coach Orgeron and the coaching staff: Thank you for trusting me, for challenging me, and for building a program that valued both grit and grace. You created an environment where players could thrive — and we did. The memories of that 2019 season, of going undefeated, winning the SEC, and capturing the national championship, will stay with me forever. But even more than the wins, it’s the relationships and moments in between that I cherish most.
To my teammates — you are my brothers for life. We worked, fought, laughed, and bled together. We made each other better, and together we built something truly historic. I’ll never forget our locker room celebrations, our long practices, and the shared belief that we were building something special. You were the heartbeat of that team, and I’m honored to have been your quarterback.
To the fans and Tiger Nation: Your passion is unmatched. Saturday nights in Death Valley are unlike anything else in sports. The roar of the crowd, the sea of purple and gold, and the chants of “Geaux Tigers” still echo in my mind. You made me feel at home in a place I had never been before, and I’ll always be grateful for that love.
To the LSU community and Baton Rouge — thank you for welcoming me and giving me more than I ever thought possible. You gave me the space to grow not just as a football player, but as a man. Your support has shaped me, and I carry it with me every day in Cincinnati and beyond.
LSU will always be a part of who I am. Wherever I go, I carry Tiger pride in my heart.
Thank you, forever.
