To the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Organization, Our Incredible Fans, and the Entire Buccaneers Community,
As I reflect on my journey, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for everything the past several years have meant. From the moment I was drafted by the Buccaneers, Tampa has been so much more than just a place to play football — it became home. And this letter is simply a heartfelt thank you for the love, the support, and the unwavering belief that helped shape not just my career, but the man I’ve become.
To the Buccaneers organization — thank you for giving me an opportunity to live out my dream. You believed in me from day one. You allowed me to grow, to learn, and to thrive in a culture that values hard work, accountability, and family. The coaches, the staff, the front office — each of you played a role in my development on and off the field. I will always be proud to have worn red and pewter.
To my teammates — you are my brothers. We’ve built something special over the years. We’ve shared blood, sweat, and tears. We’ve lifted each other through losses and celebrated unforgettable wins — including the ultimate one, Super Bowl LV. I’ll never forget those locker room moments, the bond, the battles, the laughs. It was a privilege to go to work with all of you.
To the fans — your passion is second to none. From the packed stands at Raymond James to the messages of support through injuries and recoveries, you’ve been a constant source of strength. I’ve felt the love every time I stepped onto that field. You believed in me even when I struggled, and you celebrated me at my best. For that, I’ll be forever thankful.
And to the Tampa Bay community — thank you for embracing me and my family. You’ve made this more than a place where I played; you made it a part of who I am. Through our work with the Team Godwin Foundation, we’ve met so many inspiring people, and we’re proud to have given back to a city that gave us so much.
As I look ahead, no matter where life and football take me, Tampa will always hold a special place in my heart. This chapter has been nothing short of extraordinary, and it’s all because of you.
