“I know there’s been a lot of speculation and concern,” Swinney said, his voice firm but his eyes filled with passion. “First and foremost, I’d like to thank everyone who has contacted out – your thoughts and prayers mean everything to me. Recently, I’ve been struggling with some health issues that have led me to slow down more than normal. But I want to set your minds at ease today: I am OK.
