The Kentucky Wildcats are preparing for their Sweet 16 game against Tennessee, but they’re also working on the transfer portal now that it’s open.

Kentucky has reached out to Tulane guard Kam Williams, according to David Sisk of Rivals.

According to Jacob Polacheck of KSR, Kentucky is also in contact with Florida State forward Taylor Bol Bowen.

Williams, a 6-foot-8, 190-pound true freshman, predominantly played the 3 position for Tulane this season.

The 3-star prospect averaged 9.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.1 blocks while shooting 41.2% on 3-pointers in 4.6 attempts per game. Williams also played some small-ball 4, so he has the potential to provide depth at numerous positions for Kentucky.

Bowen, a 6-foot-10, 195-pounder, was a 4-star prospect in the class of 2023. He averaged 8.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and shot 41.4% from deep on 2.4 attempts per game this season.

Bowen primarily played the 4 spot while occasionally sliding down to the 5, so he’s another player who could provide Kentucky with more versatility.
