Lane Kiffin remains the Transfer Portal king. He’s already signed his fourth consecutive Top 3 college football transfer class this cycle, but with his latest addition, he could propel the Ole Miss Rebels to the top spot this offseason.

After losing Jaxson Dart, wide receivers Tre Harris, Jordan Watkins, Juice Wells, and tight end Caden Prieskorn in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Ole Miss Rebels needed to entirely rebuild their offence around new starting quarterback Austin Simmons. Lane Kiffin and his superb staff have accomplished just that.

Kiffin has already signed four transfer wide receivers and two tight ends, but Ole Miss has made one of its best offseason signings yet. Following Penn State’s semifinal loss in the College Football Playoff, wide receiver Harrison Wallace declared his desire to use the Transfer Portal.

Multiple reports revealed that he planned to visit Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Texas A&M, among other programs, but Lane Kiffin appears to have won him over before he even had a chance to visit all of the others. Harrison Wallace committed to Ole Miss on Sunday and is expected to be one of the Rebels’ starting receivers immediately.

Harrison Wallace completes Ole Miss’s masterpiece of transfer portal playmaker acquisitions as the Rebels prepare for spring camp in just a few weeks.

Cayden Lee is back as the favourite to start as slot wide receiver. De’Zhaun Stribling, an Oklahoma State transfer wide receiver, should be a lock for one of the outside wide receiver positions. Arkansas transfer tight end Luke Hasz should provide the dynamic that Ole Miss lacked at the position last season. Harrison Wallace will most likely occupy the final starting outside wide receiver spot opposite Stribling.

Lane Kiffin’s other transfer wide receivers are all second and third-year guys who should be able to take on larger responsibilities in the coming years.

Harrison Wallace emerged as Penn State’s top wide receiver in 2024, with nearly 50 receptions, over 700 yards, and four receiving touchdowns. He was a versatile receiver who could play in any pre-snap alignment, as well as a willing blocker. Wallace, who will play every down in Lane Kiffin’s scheme, should prosper right away.
