MORGANTOWN, WV – The Big 12 Conference office and ESPN have announced the 2025 game times and broadcast partners for West Virginia’s first three football games, as well as their Friday night battle at BYU.

The season opener versus Robert Morris at Milan Puskar Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 30, at 2 p.m. marks the start of Coach Rich Rodriguez’s second term at West Virginia. The first matchup between the two institutions will be on ESPN+.

On Saturday, September 6, the Mountaineers travel to Ohio University for game two of the 18th meeting between the institutions. This year’s game is the first time the two teams have met in Athens, Ohio, since 1949, and the sixth time it has not been played in Morgantown. The game will be played at 4 p.m. on ESPNU.

ESPN will broadcast the “Backyard Brawl” against Pitt on September 13 at 3:30 p.m. from Milan Puskar Stadium. The 108th meeting between the schools is the final year of the existing series, with the new contract commencing in 2029.

ESPN will broadcast West Virginia’s game at BYU in Provo, Utah, on Friday, October 3, at 10:30 p.m. ET.

Starting with the Big 12 opener versus Kansas on September 20, conference game timings and network partners will be given either 12 or six days before the game.

Season tickets to West Virginia’s six-game home schedule are currently on sale and may be purchased online at WVUGAME.com.

This season, the 304 Mobile Pass season ticket option remains the most inexpensive! All six home games this season will cost $304 plus fees, a 20% savings over a conventional season ticket. This season ticket option does not include a per-seat donation from the Mountaineer Athletic Club. Unlike a typical season ticket, the 304 Mobile Pass includes a randomly assigned seat in Milan Puskar Stadium for each regular season home football game in 2025. Each game, supporters will be assigned a different seat in the upper level or south end zone section. Fans may buy the 304 Mobile Pass HERE.

Due to tremendous demand, the Pitt game on September 13th is now only available to the general public through season ticket packages. Single game tickets for the Backyard Brawl will not be available via the Mountaineer Ticket Office.
