Four-star power forward Sebastian Wilkins has committed to Duke University and will reclassify from the 2026 to the 2025 recruiting class, bolstering the Blue Devils’ already impressive incoming class and propelling them back to the No. 1 spot in the national rankings.

Sebastian, a 6-foot-8, 215-pound forward from Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, chose Duke over Maryland. Originally ranked No. 32 in the 2026 class, his reclassification places him at No. 25 in the 2025 class, according to ESPN.

His commitment follows closely on the heels of five-star Italian wing Dame Sarr’s decision to join Duke, further strengthening the team’s roster.

He brings a balanced skill set to Duke, offering effective shooting, solid defense, and reliable rebounding. He was named First Team All-Conference in the Nike EYBL Scholastic Conference Tournament and led Brewster Academy to the semifinals of the Chipotle Nationals.

In his Wilkins’ addition, Duke’s 2025 recruiting class now includes:

  • Cameron Boozer (5-star forward)

  • Cayden Boozer (4-star guard)

  • Nikolas Khamenia (5-star forward)

  • Dame Sarr (5-star wing)

  • Sebastian Wilkins (4-star forward)

This group is considered one of the strongest incoming classes, providing head coach Jon Scheyer with a blend of size, versatility, and talent.

Wilkins expressed his excitement about joining Duke, stating, “Duke has always been my dream school… This is a full-circle moment.”

With this commitment, Duke solidifies its position at the top of the 2025 recruiting rankings, setting high expectations for the

upcoming season.
