The Miami Heat were said to be interested in acquiring Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant prior to the February trade deadline. The Heat were “direct” about their trade interest in Durant “on multiple levels,” according to a Five Reasons Sports article around the deadline.
Fast forward a few months, and a report from Greg Sylvander of Five Reasons Sports suggests that the Heat should still be kept in mind as potential players for the two-time NBA champion.
Many people believe that Miami might acquire Durant with their lone first-round pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, according to what Sylvander has heard. In addition, Sylvander mentioned three players who the Heat might consider if they decide to hold onto their No. 20 overall choice.

Last but not least, Sylvander rattled off two other prospects the Heat have been linked to, but he clarified that that information is “less recent.”
