To the incredible people of Wrexham—the club, the supporters, and the entire town that has accepted me as one of their own,

There are moments in life and football that leave indelible impressions on the heart, which time cannot erase. Today, as I sit to write these words, I am filled with emotion and appreciation for the trip we have taken together. This is more than simply a letter; it is a sincere tribute to a place and people who have given me far more than I could have anticipated.

I felt something different as soon as I landed in Wrexham. It wasn’t only the historic badge on the shirt, the weight of expectation, or the raucous atmosphere of the Racecourse Ground on game days. It was the sense of a community coming together, the warmth of the fans who filled the stands with enthusiasm, and the goodwill of those who greeted me not only as a player but also as a human being. You welcomed me with open arms and provided me with a home in which I could grow, prosper, and give my all.

Wrexham A.F.C., thank you for believing in me. Thank you for allowing me to proudly wear this shirt and be a part of something bigger than myself. The staff and management’s faith in me spurred my desire every time I went on the field. You created an environment that not only nurtured my skill, but also encouraged me to aspire higher, fight harder, and dream larger.

To the fans, what can I say to ever repay your continuous support? You’ve supported me through highs and lows, goals and near misses, injuries and comebacks. Your songs, shouts, and notes of support have elevated me in ways you may never completely comprehend. You made me believe that every effort, sprint, and goal was for a bigger purpose: for you, for Wrexham.

To the community, you have demonstrated what true belonging feels like. Your compassion and generosity of spirit have moved me deeply, whether in local businesses, on the streets, or at community gatherings. You’ve reminded me that football is more than simply what happens on the field; it’s about the relationships we form, the hope we instill, and the joy we share.

It has been an honor to represent you, fight for you, and rejoice alongside you. Whatever the future holds, know that Wrexham will always be a part of me. This area, these people, this club—you have all had a significant impact on my career and life. For this, I am eternally grateful.

With my whole heart,

Paul Mullin
