To the people of Wrexham:

I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude. This is more than simply a letter—it’s a piece of my soul. As I reflect on my time with Wrexham A.F.C., I am filled with appreciation, emotion, and affection. What we have created together goes beyond the game of football.

When I initially arrived in Wrexham, I had no idea how profoundly this community would influence my life, both professionally and personally. You accepted me not only as a player, but as a person. You didn’t simply support my ambitions; you saw me, believed in me, and made me feel at home. From the Racecourse Ground to the streets of this amazing town, I discovered more than just a club—I found family.

To our supporters: you’ve been the lifeblood of our trip. You never stopped singing and believing, even when things didn’t go our way. Your voices gave us power, your banners gave us pride, and your unshakable dedication gave us meaning. I’ve played in front of numerous crowds throughout my life, but nothing compares to a Wrexham crowd. Nothing compares to that scream, that intensity, that sense of solidarity.

To everyone at the club, from the boardroom to the backroom staff, you gave me the opportunity to be myself. You believed in my abilities, allowed me the freedom to express myself, and, most importantly, made me feel respected. I’m glad to have worn this badge and contributed to a team that never gave up dreaming. Under your leadership, Wrexham became more than just a football club; it became a global family, a shining example of what community can look like when heart meets ambition.

To the co-chairmen, Rob and Ryan, your vision altered the course of our club—and my life. Your enthusiasm for Wrexham was contagious, and your dedication transformed a sleeping giant into a roaring powerhouse. You reminded us all that football is about more than simply winning; it’s about people, dreams, and the stories we share along the road.

And to the Wrexham community: you accepted me, encouraged me, and allowed me to mature—not only as a player, but as a man. Whether it was sharing moments in local cafés, walking through the town center, or hearing young kids sing my name with wide eyes and big ambitions, you provided me experiences that I will cherish forever. My family and I have only felt love, and for that, we are eternally grateful.

This letter is not a goodbye. It is an homage. A celebration. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this chapter of my life so memorable.

Forever Red, forever Wrexham.

With love and thanks.
Paul Mullin,
Wrexham A.F.C. No. 10.
