Today, I write this letter with a tremendous amount of thanks, humility, and admiration as I look back on a journey that continues to shape my life on and off the ice. I’ve been shown support, encouragement and belief by people who truly care about hockey and the people who wear the jersey since joining the Chicago Blackhawks family.

Being a professional athlete is never easy. Being a professional athlete is never easy. Pressure, obstacles, expectations, setbacks are testing your character all the time.
