To the incredible family, our loyal supporters, team mates, staff and the entire Warringah community,
Today I write this letter with a heart full of gratitude, pride and emotion as I reflect on a journey that has brought me more memories, lessons and love than I could ever adequately express.
“From the very beginning of my career, the Manly Sea Eagles gave me the opportunity to play rugby league, but also a family, a home and a purpose. I’ll forever be grateful for the people who have supported me along the way and every moment I’ve worn this jersey has meant everything to me.
I want to thank my fans for the good and the bad. I want to thank my fans for the good and the bad. Your enthusiasm, dedication and constant backing have helped me through some of the more difficult times in my professional life. To celebrate the successes at Brookvale and support me through the disappointments and injuries. You were always there for me. You used to love to tell me about the specific things that make this club so special. You used to love to tell me about the specific things that make this club so special.
Sometimes the emotional and physical difficulties were very hard. Sometimes the emotional and physical difficulties were very hard. In ways that others outside the sport may never fully appreciate, injuries tested my resilience, my patience and my philosophy. But every time I came back to the field, the roar of the crowd reminded me why I kept battling. But every time I came back to the field, the roar of the crowd reminded me why I kept battling.
I want to thank my teammates, coaches, medical staff and everyone that works behind the scenes to help shape me into a better person as well as a better athlete. Rugby league is built on sacrifice, trust, discipline and brotherhood. I’ve been fortunate enough to be in a locker room with guys that have pushed me to be the best version of myself each and every day.
I want to thank the broader Warringah community for welcoming me straight away. This club’s relationship with the community is unique in sport. Every time I put on the Sea Eagles jersey you made me feel encouraged, appreciated and proud to represent this area.
I will always remember the affection shown to my family and me during my career.

“I’ve had some amazing experiences, some lifelong friendships and some life changing situations and teachings from rugby league that I will never forget. It taught me to be grateful for all the in-betweens, to be resilient in hardship, and to be humble in triumph.
“Wherever life takes me, Manly will always be in my heart.
“It has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to represent this club and I hope I did the supporters proud every time I took the field.”
Thank you for all the encouragement, messages, faith moments and memories.
With love and eternal gratitude,
🤍
