As I look back on the amazing journey skiing has taken me on over the years, I am so thankful for all the people, times and experiences that have made my life and career. This path has been made possible by the endless support, encouragement and belief of an incredible community, from my first days learning the slopes as a little girl with a goal to competing on the biggest stages in the world.

Thank you to the American Skiing Team for creating an environment that pushed me to grow, inspired me to chase greatness and stood beside me through all of my wins and losses. Representing my country has been one of the greatest honours of my life. It was the dedication, professionalism and sacrifice of coaches, trainers, medical professionals, teammates and support staff that allowed athletes like me to thrive and confidently pursue greatness.

I want to thank my teammates for our competitive nature, the memories and the friendships. It may seem like a solo sport, skiing, but behind every skier is a team of people working together to make them successful. Thank you for your support in difficult times, and during joyful celebrations of success, which made this trip all the more meaningful.

We can’t begin to tell you how much your support has meant to the fans across the world. Through every race, every podium, injury and comeback, your belief in me never wavered. Your love for the sport, your encouraging words and the energy you brought to the slopes was a source of strength that helped me get through the highs and lows of my career.

It opened up my life to people from different backgrounds and cultures who were also passionate about sport and the mountains.

There were moments of unimaginable delight and heartbreaking moments that tested my soul, but the support system never wavered. That I will always be grateful for.

Thank you for the supportive environment you have given me that has helped me grow professionally and achieve my goals.
