Lando Norris has talked candidly about the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team’s increasing threat, acknowledging that the Silver Arrows’ remarkable speed has twice kept McLaren Racing from converting great performances into race wins this season.

The McLaren driver has had one of his most competitive Formula One seasons. According to one career, Mercedes’ capacity to control tire performance and sustain consistency over extended race durations has grown to be a significant advantage over competing teams. Norris disclosed that Mercedes has consistently found an advantage when it counts most during the final laps of races, despite McLaren’s advancements in qualification and race pace.

Norris claims that McLaren has made significant advancements in automobile technology and that the squad frequently competes close to the front of the grid. However, he acknowledged that on two occasions when McLaren appeared to be able to win, Mercedes’ strategic execution and straight-line speed had been impossible to overcome. The British driver pointed out that even the smallest advantage might decide the winner on race day because Formula One margins are still quite narrow.

Norris also commended his McLaren squad for keeping up with the best teams in the sport. He stated that the crew is gaining important lessons from every opportunity lost and underlined that morale inside the garage is still good. The 26-year-old thinks McLaren is closer than ever to continuously competing for victories and titles.
