To Alpine Skiing, My Supporters, and the Whole “Don Don” Community,
I am overcome with a profound sense of thankfulness that words can hardly express when I think back on my experience navigating the highs and lows of alpine skiing. This letter is more than simply a message; it is an homage to all the people and experiences that have influenced my life and work.
I am grateful to alpine skiing for providing me with a sense of identity, discipline, and purpose. You put me to the test in ways that required bravery, tenacity, and unwavering resolve. Every race, every setback, and every triumph turned into a lesson that went much beyond the slopes. You provided me a platform, but more significantly, you gave me a purpose.
My biggest source of strength has come from the continuous love of my fans worldwide. You supported and encouraged me through setbacks, victories, injuries, and comebacks. Even in the most difficult and quiet times, your applause reverberated in my heart. I was never alone on my road, as you reminded me.
And to the amazing “Don Don” community: your love and enthusiasm have been truly remarkable. You made a place where dreams are honored and passion flourishes. Your devotion, zeal, and solidarity created an atmosphere that helped me develop both personally and as an athlete. I will always be thankful to you for supporting me when things appeared uncertain.
This trip has always belonged to all of us, not just to me. Every accomplishment serves as evidence of the shared spirit among us. I take your love and support with me as I look ahead, knowing that it will continue to motivate me in whatever comes next.
