To my beloved Thomas Vonn, my amazing fans, and the entire skiing world,

As I reflect on a journey that has shaped my career and my life, I am filled with emotion and gratitude. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the constant love and support of so many amazing people along the way and all the experiences, lessons, victories and challenges that skiing has given me.

Thank you, Thomas, for being there for me through the ups and downs, the victories we celebrated under the bright lights, and the hard times that tested my mettle and resolve. Your support, belief and sacrifice no doubt helped me become the woman and athlete I am today. Nothing could ever take away the significance of having someone who really believed in my dreams before the world ever saw them at all.

“I want to thank all my followers around the world for their support, messages, flags at the finish line and moments of faith in me. You brought me joy in the greatest triumphs of my career, inspiration in my setbacks and strength in my injuries. There were moments when the road seemed impossible, but your encouragement was the motivation I needed to keep going. You became family, and not just cheerleaders.

I am so grateful for the whole snow sports community, coaches, teammates, competitors, organizers, medics and all those that work so hard behind the scenes. With each season, you created an environment that made me grow faster, stronger and more resilient. Skiing is a sport of passion, discipline and teamwork, and I feel privileged to have traveled this amazing path with so many amazing people.

Every race, every mountain, every snowy moment built my legacy but the most important part of it all will always be the connections and the memories. I’m so proud of what we did together and even more grateful for all the love that surrounded me.

Chapters might change, but my love of skiing and this community will always be there. Thank you for believing in me, for inspiring me, for supporting me in pursuit of an impossible dream.

With everlasting love and gratitude,
