To the Arizona State Sun Devils football passionate fans and the ASU family as a whole,
So as I reflect back on the journey that has brought me to this great community, I write this letter today with a lot of gratitude, humility and pride. Coaching football has never been a job to me. It’s a calling, a passion and a life goal built by the people who’ve always had my back.

It takes a community that is unified and ready to stand together through every trial and every triumph. “The culture at Arizona State has been a support for me as a coach, but growth for me as a leader and a person.
Thanks to the entire ASU community of students, professors, alumni, families and supporters around the globe for creating a culture of opportunity, progress and belief. Success is never achieved by one person alone. It demands a united society, prepared to withstand all hardships and all triumphs. The culture at Arizona State has helped me grow as a leader and as a person as well as coaching me.
I also want to recognize the athletes who believe in this program and give it their all to proudly represent Arizona State. Perhaps the best thing about my job has been watching young men grow up playing football and off the field. Everything we’re creating together still runs on their commitment, self-discipline, and belief in our mission.
